The best thing about Smoke Rise

are all the amazing amenities!

Lake Life

Swimming, sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, or just relaxing on the beach are all options on Lake Kinnelon.

Enjoy the Beach

Our beautiful Lake Kinnelon features a large beach, swim lanes, lifeguard shack, snack stand, BBQ grills, volleyball nets, playground, horseshoe pits, and basketball and bocce ball courts.  There are electric boat docks, as well as storage racks for sunfish sail boats, kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards.

Winter Fun

Winter is a great time to get outdoors in and around Smoke Rise. Kids and adults can head over to Lake Kinnelon for ice fishing, or ice skating and a pickup game of ice hockey on Hoot Owl pond.

Snowfall welcomes sledding at Silas Condict County Park (abutting Smoke Rise). Skiing, snowboarding, and tubing awaits you just a short 35 minutes away at Mountain Creek.

St. Hubert’s Chapel

Constructed in 1886 for Mary Kinney from native stone, St. Hubert’s Chapel sits perched on an island in the middle of Lake Kinnelon. During construction, the  Tiffany Glass Company was commissioned to enhance the interior which led to 3 years of research and design. The end results were spectacular and included the beautiful celtic cross window, memorial tablet, marble mosaic floor, altar, furniture and other decorations.

Talbot Field

Also known as the Village Green, is a wonderful place to gather. Head down to the fields for practice on the baseball or soccer/lacrosse fields, have lunch at the picnic tables (with barbecue grills) next to the playground, or a pickup game at the basketball courts.
